How Do NAU BBA Students Measure Up?
How do NAU BBA students do compared to those in other business programs? To assess this, the BBA Program has new students and completing students take the Peregrine exam on business Common Professional Components. This is a national exam that measures student learning in the BBA Program. This gives us information on how much students improve, as well as how they do compared to students in other business programs nationally. So how did BBA students do?
The “gap” analysis compares our new students (pre-test) to our completing students (post-test). The degree of improvement is then compared to other business programs nationally. The results show that NAU BBA business students improved almost double the national averages!
But wait! There’s more! NAU BBA students also scored above the 90th percentile (higher than over 90 percent of other business programs in the United States)! This is considered to be a “best-in-class” standard by the Accreditation Council of Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP), a global business accreditation organization.
As good as this is, we are continuously seeking ways to improve student learning even more.
