Torr Campitelli nominated Angel Liu for Student of the Month. Campitelli stated, “Angel should be Student of the Month due to her hard work and dedication to her education. I was able to witness this by participating in class projects with her, and being a study partner of hers throughout spring and summer semesters. My words can be backed up by simply looking at her grades and progress in a short amount of time here at NAU.”
Angel is currently a full-time student pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing. During the 2015 spring semester, she received a 4.0 GPA and she is hoping to maintain it over the summer. Angel’s goal is to graduate Summa Cum Laude and then pursue a master’s program. This summer, she is an intern at Cayenne Medical in the Marketing and Sales Operations department. She also joined the Phi Beta Lambda business club and became secretary this summer. In April, Angel attended the State Leadership Conference at Embry Riddle. Angel placed 1st in Personal Finance, as well as Computer Networking, and was 2nd place in Marketing Concepts.
Angel is a student of NAU’s Extended Campuses and says she is glad to have made the choice to pursue her degree with NAU. Angel states, “All of my professors have been wonderful and the small classroom sizes provide more individualized attention and interaction.”
In Angel’s free time, she enjoys attending yoga classes, cooking and baking. Angel says this fall semester, she will be taking a majority of her courses online so she can have the flexibility of traveling before she graduates.
Congratulations Angel Liu on being selected as the August 2015 #NAUBBAStudentoftheMonth!
